Welcome Allison ParkerCornell Graduate Dietetic Intern placed at FoodnetAugust 29, 2003 -- Allison Parker will be working at Foodnet this fall as a Cornell Dietetic Intern under the guidance of Carolyn Arnold, RD. Allison played varsity field hockey and women's ice hockey in college, so she should fit right in to a hockey town like Ithaca (GO BIG RED)! She graduated from Drexel University with a bachelors of science degree in nutrition and food science in June 2003. Allison's experiences in academics, sports, work and community service have prepared her well for this assignment. Her goals for this internship include developing her confidence as a nutrition professional, learning more about the relationship between legislation and the field of dietetics, and gaining insight into the ways she can be most effective in her career.
